The genitourinary system (aka: urogenital system) is the system of organs that comprise the reproductive organs and the urinary system. They are labeled like this because they are in close proximity to one another. Disorders of the genitourinary system are usually asymptomatic (showing evidence of disease but without symptoms). And in some cases, symptoms will actually show themselves. Catalysts for these disorders include congenital anomalies, infectious diseases, trauma or conditions that involve the urinary structure.
